]]>Nah he raced in an era where the drivers were tough as nails and not big babies and nascar didn’t micro manage every tidbit detail. There were plenty of drivers who crashed up until the 90s who would get out, check the damage and get back in and drive away. The only significant difference to this was that he got in the ambulance and then got back out. Other than that it occurred fairly regularly
