First, I’m glad someone covered this. I remember in 2005 following him as a fan and points watching each week. When he caught up and ended up making the Chase, I was ecstatic he made up that many points. Thought it was insane. As far as a favoring moment, can’t really pick just one. The close duels, even ones he lost, with Johnson, Burton, Larson/Elliott, Kahne, etc. all stand out. His IROC championship season was also cool. Winning on his 500th start. Moreover, his dry sense of humor made his interviews enjoyable, as well.
]]>real question is does joey logano have any fans?
]]>Also Bobby Labonte and Michael Waltrip.
]]>His first Busch win at Rockingham in ’98. I followed him from back when he was racing late models in Wisconsin, and that win meant he really had a future down south. Crazy to think he’s a Hall of Famer. Congrats Matt!
]]>I mean he’d be a 3 time champion if Jimmie Johnson would have picked a different profession, he simply was unfortunately driving during the prime of the most dominate Nascar team ever.
