Yeah, it made more sense at Daytona. Not sure how many new fans they’re attracting by putting it in the Colleseum but I seriously doubt it’s converting anyone. NASCAR would be killing it if they focused on their natural fan base instead of trying to get the attention of the luxury box crowd who will never be diehard fans. When NASCAR decided they were better than their fan base, it really started to lose everything that made it so much fun to be at races.

Truex is on a mission. It could be his last season & he didn’t win last year despite leading the most laps. Plus, Busch isn’t at JGR so Truex will get some more of the top talent in the garage working on his cars. (Imagine Hamlin will also benefit.)
