Either Bayne winning, or Mcdowell. I went to the Daytona 500 every year since I was like 7, i remember seeing Johnson win in 2013 when he was my favorite driver. Also I have a pretty vivid memory when Bayne won the 500, I was only 7 wondering who the hell is that lol.

I was in high school, and my choir had a concert that day (in fact, the most important concert in my time in that choir).

Luckily, I witnessed both of Dale, Jr.’s 500 victories, and Denny Hamlin dedicating his 2019 500 victory to JD Gibbs.

I can’t remember if it was duels or qualifying, but they were interviewing Trevor and I can’t remember who was interviewing him either, but she said “before we came on the air, what did I tell you not to call me because it makes me feel old?” He was like “ma’am, you asked I don’t call you ma’am” then she continues with the interview and as they finish he walks away with a “yes ma’am” and I laughed so hard. But at the same time I was like damn what a nice kid. Then a few days later he wins the 500 and I was so happy for him and everyone got the nice guys can finish first story. One of my favorite Speed weeks moments as a fan.
