I was seated in the upper turn 4 area and the crowd felt full. Not gonna lie, I had a blast but I was in my seat probably half of the race and noticed a lot other people were as well. Between buying food, beer, using the bathroom (with long lines), taking pictures, talking on the phone, etc; I can kind of understand why on television the grandstands look empty because in person it felt very full. Equally I liked having a little space between groups, I would’ve been uncomfortable with a jammed pack crowd. Secondly stage breaks in person make way more sense than at home due to all of the breaks stated above. I kinda feel like we might be making a big deal outta nothing because our attention spans have decreased.

Stage breaks make a lot more sense in person versus watching on television. It was obvious that Chastain, Elliot and Busch had the best cars. And the snow on the mountains in the background was amazing!
