Putting him ahead of Gibbs, Briscoe, Bubba, Allmendinger, etc. for the time being. That’s without scoring a single stage point, limited Cup practice, limited Next Gen time, short-spent familiarity within Hendrick. Obviously he’s in a lightning-fast car and he knows how to drive, but there’s still something pretty remarkable about what he’s accomplished in one month, and it’s definitely not going unnoticed.
