@ad206 I don’t know, maybe maybe not. I still watch N Wilkesboro 80s-90s Winston cup races on YouTube and they’re fun. I went to the race track revival last august and it was a great event as well.

The wheel package and pit stop limitations for the all star race format will hopefully help the racing this May.

I think people are going to be surprised by how boring that track is. Especially with these cars.

I imagine it will get a regular season points race. The all star race is sold out and the news has caused the biggest hype for nascar in a long time. Considering all the money dumped into updating the track, seating etc it would make no sense for it to be a one and done cup race.

That’s exactly right. Dale Jr certainly made the push, but it was the iRacing community that he was speaking for. I’m about 90% sure that the idea was first brought up in the forum there.
