I think they should stick to that (just keep it a night race). Far as bristol goes I agree they will eventually have the night race in the fall and that will be it.

I think long term if it’s gonna continue to be a dirt race I would say give it to a purpose built dirt track like Eldora or Knoxville. Knoxville learned from the first year to the second year of the trucks and then it got ripped off the schedule for the Milwaukee Mile that personally I can not stand. Wisconsin already has Road America for a xfinity race and probably should have a cup race. Give Iowa some love we have Iowa Speedway and Knoxville Raceway.

I’d like to see the tracks that get two dates rotate around from year to year. And, I’d really like to see them plan more on the weekends to get more asses into seats. I know that the politics that goes on between NASCAR, the track owners, the team owners, and the networks complicate it, but I think they can get create some scarcity by maybe giving tracks like Bristol with a less-than-stellar second date an off year or two to build up the event.

@J Jonathan Davenport praised those holes forming for improving the racing, same thing on Door Bumper Clear yesterday as eventually the areas right around them were some of the last moist areas on the surface so there was a ton of time available if you knew how to run them. As for two Bristol dates, the reason it’s not coming back is look up pics of the 2019 and 2020 races, it’s almost impossible to tell the difference attendance wise between a race fans were encouraged to attend and a race fans were not allowed to attend

One year when my brother and I went, it snowed on the day before for what’s now the Xfinity series and the day after it was a significant snow storm.

There’s not going to be another cup series race on dirt if not Bristol

That said for this to thrive, move it to a different date cause you have Easter so most of you viewers are gonna be watching at home rather than being at the track and weather even pre dirt was not good (though last year DW talking about the vortex effects of Bristol was kinda interesting).
