Just look at the points standing. Also, last year, 2 wins,0 in the playoffs, still got second. He (or maybe trackhouse) knows how to play the game. Would be curious if he is out performing the trackhouse equipment. Dont think so, Suarez runs with him most of the time, suarez is just more prone to mistakes.

Everytime he’s mentioned, he’s involved in something, EVERYONE talks about it. Numbers go up. Social media goes up.
Ross Chastain has grinded his way to where he is today. From Stacey Compton taking a chance on him over a decade ago, getting shafted with the DC Solar ordeal, working hard wherever he goes. Is he probably overaggressive on track? Probably, but so was Dale Sr. at times. The agrression comes from him clawing his way in the lower ranks, and we need that in a sea of bland personalities (cause godforbid someone breathes the wrong way according to NASCAR).

Watching him go from backmarker to Cup champion contender, has been interesting. I’m a fan of Chastain – he brings the much-needed energy that has been lacking for over a decade.
