@CVetteMan1111 your right. I agree. He needs to be much smart. This wasn’t hard racing, this was stupid. He spent the entire time racing hard. If he continues to DNF. Then wats the point. Ask Harvick. He is criticized way too much. Look at the Girl Driver in Xfinity. So is hammered on about every thing she does but look her DNF. Look at this years Daytona Winner. Ricky Stinkouse has wrecked more cars then he has raced. The DNF count is astounding. It takes him 3 hours to watch 60 minutes. Ross already know how to race hard, he just needs some smarts. What ah good f££Kim race though. Could have been a spectacular finish and fans are frustrated over that and no so much Ross.

How quickly Nascar fans forget terms like “Hard racing for the win!” and “Checkers or wreckers!” This crash is one part hard racing, one part air, and one part not so smart decision making. Jeff and Rick Hendrick know that Ross Chastain is a talented driver. He is still young though. Give him a couple more years to make mistakes and clear the air with his “enemies” and I think Ross is going to become a threat to win more frequently. In fact I wouldn’t be surprised if somewhere down the road Rick entertains the idea of bringing Ross into his group of drivers. Possibly replacing Alex Bowman somewhere down the road. With the proper guidance and some time to figure out smarter moves in crunch time I think Ross is going to be fun to watch.
