I agree that it is a good thing to have an American team at Le Mans but, what is the real goal of this nascar “experiment”? This is only 1 car and it will not be competitive with any of the other classes and not “official” so what’s the point? now if there were a few nascar type cars that makes more sense because then they have their own race between themselves but just throwing a car out there to get smoked by everyone else… I don’t see the point. My only hope is that they can complete the full 24hrs on the track.

The beauty of motorsports hybrids is you can run a big V8 with a hybrid….some of the Hypercars and LMP2 in IMSA and WEC run V8s with the ERS systems. You’re still gonna get a massive NA V8 but its probably just gonna have regen braking which really changes nothing

He knows it will probably take a few years before it happens plus the fact he’s in his 80s you know he’s thinking like that and that he’s pulling the strings to make it happen. Especially since JDs passing he’s probably been reflecting on life even more and then Coy….just further adds fuel to the fire of bucket list items he wants to cross off.

@ninjaXavier3 yeah your probably right because in 2019 when Kyle Busch won his 2nd championship he had racked up 55 wins at that point, and then it took him 3 more years to get 5 more for 60
