Carson having a brake rotor explode while he’s running in the top 20 in a Spire car pretty much sums up his entire 2023 season. Smart o him though to turn it into the wall instead of spinning it to the left, which would’ve been a much bigger hit.

LaJoie struggling in a top tier car, while Hocevar outran him easily in his own car. The loser this weekend might be Lajoie, who may end up without a ride somewhere down the line, while Hocevar will certainly fill a spot.

Okay but when you look at it, all the Hendrick guys (except Byron) were off today and also last year so I think Lajoie gets a pass. He’s wheeled that Spire car to top 20s and top 15s so I think its safe to say that Hendrick just missed the setup
