They have, he hit a ton on the drivers side. If this was the 1990s or early 2000s he would be in bad shape. Racing will never be totally safe. No matter what nascar does that will not change. I’m sure they will continue and try and make them better. They fixed the rears already, now they just made big changes. Drivers know the risks. Nobody is making them do this. I hate to see his got a concussion. Condidering how hard he hit I’m glad that is all it is. This was a very hard driver side hit.i wouldn’t call Noah’s crash a routine crash.
]]>@SuperTornadoGunI bet if we see the in-car camera, his head probably slammed the head rest hard.
]]>@Andrew JohnsonI think this hit would injure a driver regardless of generation. Driver’s side, hard into the outside wall, and at a fairly high speed at a flat track.
]]>This is the one crash everybody knew had injured a driver. I figured he would be concussed. Think I even said that maybe.
]]>@JD WhtSpeech recognition on the speaker’s part is a sign of potential TBI.
]]>@Andrew Johnson more than a slap, he hit pretty damn hard
]]>I agree as he acted like he couldn’t really focus on what he was saying.
Legacy seems to be really taking shots one way or another lately with penalties, trashed cars and now this.
Would explain the looking forward to the off season vs. off week comment.
]]>Well said.
