I would argue the finish was actually a good thing. One issue with the Next Gen car, is the top 25 running simular lap times and nobody can pass or move up, except through strategy. That’s not a good product.
Passing was good by road course standards. Guys could get away if they were better. Those are good things.
We don’t want parity of lap times with this car. We should want parity of opportunity for the race teams but not parity on the race track, as that typically makes for poor racing. Comer and goers are a good thing.
