As Eric rightly points out, SRX, for the time being, doesn’t take itself too seriously. Its just entertainment. But wowzer, look at the infrastructure Tony Stewart is building for the future.

@DIY Chad 726 That’s exactly how the series operates right now. They only have 12 cars on track for each race, but if you check the driver list online, they have 23 drivers participating in the series. While some of the drivers may not be available for all the races, I’m willing to bet enough of them are to include a few more cars on track. AFAIK, they limited the number of cars to 12 for a few reasons – mainly costs and safety – but with the series growing at the rate it is, the cost argument isn’t as strong and I personally don’t believe 2-4 more cars on track will create less safe environment.

I am going to the SRX race at thunder Road which is my local short track and I’m excited to see some of NASCAR/auto sports biggest stars/legends. I have been looking forward to this since January when they announced they were coming to the track.
