@AMAROK I keep saying that Women in auto racing would bring the best racing rivalry and the best racing to this sport. This track is about a technical as it gets. The fast pedal is real touchy and needs constant attention. Deegan running in Trucks has helped her in this situation. She showed tonight she will defend her spot. Just ask Helio. Hailie is hell on dirt, she attacks the corner and gets back on as good as anyone. She has the advantage of racing only ever racing men. She knows not to Andretti herself out of the race but rather stay in the fight as long as possible. I feel she needs to stay in Trucks, especially this team and Crew Chief. Let’s see what happens in the next year as she continues to gain confidence and a few bent fenders.
]]>The fans won without him crashing half the field
]]>It’s definitely time for her to get into an Xfinity car. I hope Custer can get back to Cup next season so that she can take the 00.
]]>I’ve been saying the same thing ever since she had that solid run at Vegas in the Xfinity series last season. It was with one of the underfunded teams too.
]]>She was the most aggressive I’ve seen her since K&N, but she still didn’t move anyone out of her way. She ran well all race and there was a few times she got held up by Newman, Harvick and HC, Andretti slammed Deegan out of the way and I was hoping we’d see her push him out of the way at the end but she ran clean. For a bit they were stacked bumper to bumper 4 cars and she held her own and was capitalizing on any opening to move up cleanly. The 2nd heat and the Main event showed some of her best oval driving yet, it was obvious she was seeing things and making them work. Any one who says she doesn’t have any skill should watch this race because she looked like she’s been doing it for 20 years
