I’d argue that Monster Games might not make a Heat style game. They’re owned now by iRacing. So I could see a game to NR2003 and iRacing with a mix of some elements from Heat.

There was a NASCAR expansion for Forza Motorsport, which was pretty decent – a bit bare bones, but it’s what initially sparked my interest for oval racing. The new one that’s about to come out, could be a great way for NASCAR to get straight into a proper sim-cade. It has a big established player base, and also has a very low barrier of entry with the gamepass etc.

I LOVE the creative freedom in the paint booth. The ability to recreate classic NASCAR schemes. I just wish a NASCAR console game would have the “Create/Design a Track” feature

Kids like myself could grab onto a mostly realistic game that represented what they saw on the track. Now that the sport has changed I feel like that’s harder to capture, it’s not as simple as it used to be. A game that could being that back would take the cake

Fun as hell game that I still love playing at age 17. That game sparked my interest in NASCAR when I was young. It’s that easy NASCAR.

Also your question about favorite nascar game? Only played a select few but I’m between inside line and nascar unleashed lol. Only have unleashed, inside line, and heat 5.

I third (or fourth) this! It was great when you could find cars from various series’ in multiple franchises!
