@jek 48 now go back and look at that 16 year stretch for Rudds streak. Childress a NEW team at the time, Bud Moore, Kenny Berenstein, Hendrick and his OWN team. Meanwhile JJ was with the nascar super team at the time Hendrick. but yeah Rudds era was sooooo much easier……

@jek 48 I guess that’s your opinion, but to call those claims of Rudd driving in an easier era ‘a bit of a stretch’ is the understatement of the millennium.

@NikeHM69 It’s common knowledge that Hendrick was huge on having teams share information. And Rudd definitely drove in different eras where it was known to be easier to win. Jimmie won seven championships, five of them in a row. And Hendrick/Chevy was definitely NOT the best in the series for JJ’s entire career. Not even close. Lastly, Rudd won 20 races in that 16 year stretch. Jimmie won 10 races in just one year in a much more competitive era. These are entirely different universes.
