The whole point of him being in this race was to get a feel for a paved oval. He finshed ahead of his starting position and didnt damage the car. He stated on his interview with Dale jr that he wasnt going to push things as he didn’t want to ruin someones season if he got involved in a wreck He knows there are people fighting for the championship. The whole point of this race was for him to get the feel for a style of racing he has never done before. He also brought a lot of eyes to the truck series as well. Lets see how he goes at the next road race. I dont think he will win it but he will certainly be up near the front if no one wrecks him.
