People and I mean everybody, are counting out Stenhouse, and I’m going to prove to you how he can get past the first round, and why you shouldn’t count him out. The tracks, Darlington, Kansas and Bristol in the first round, he’s had speed at before in the past. Not to mention, he has 1 win, 2 Top 5’s, and 7 Top 10’s, including 14 Top 15 finishes, and finally, finished outside of the Top 20 only 7 times in the 26 races so far this season. Stenhouse in terms in DNF’s, only has 2 to deal with crashes, being Gateway, and the 2nd Daytona race. While he may have the lowest average finish, and zero Stage wins plus Stage points, if you look at closer at what he was able to do this season, he turned JTG Daugherty Racing, into a semi competitive team competiting for Top 15’s with an occasional Top 10 finish, and if they are lucky enough, a Top 5 finish. This is the best the team and driver has looked in years.
