Denny is one of the few drivers left (if not the only one) who has been around for multiple seasons with the same team, he’s been consistently good with JGR over the years, 23XI is in a good place right now, this is the best outcome for everyone, and I see things staying good, if not getting better over time.

I knew they wanted to keep Hamlin more because of 23XI. KBM trucks didn’t have the same weight. The bigger issue is that loss of Coy Gibbs. Replacing that job has slowed down things but they’ll get everything together.

Can’t believe we were so close to having that happen, I sure wouldn’t know what to do if I were JGR and losing the top 3 guys in essentially a year. But glad to know we’ll never have to see what that world would have looked like for JGR.
