In Kyle’s case I consider that all of his wins everywhere came much more readily back when there was ‘real’ practices. One thing Kyle had over others is that give him a couple runs and he can figure his car’s needs better-faster than so many other drivers. We don’t have ‘real’ practices anymore.

But following your “Out of the Crowd” take, I think the single file restarts are actually a really good idea, because theres no choose (at road courses its often halfway thru the ‘coming to green’ lap and sometimes they aren’t sorted) and also it prevents the 5 wide entries to turn 1. This keeps the strategy part of the cautions (which i like) and keeps the excitement factor alive (which most like).
