To start, they removed the overtime line, killing any chance of a driver coming to the caution flag to win a race a la Dale @ Daytona 98. (This not long after Byron did just that at Daytona July 250.) Then effective speedweeks, the three-attempt limit was gone. On the first Xfinity return to daytona, e spent well over an hour on FIVE overtime finishes. Frustrating to me as a college radio DJ as my show was cutting it dangerously close to airtime at the top of the hour.
