Problem with nascar is fans are more engaged with a driver then a team more than anything. Once your driver retires it’s hard to stay invested. It pulls you back a bit once that happens.

I have been watching Nascar races for over 55 years since I was eight years old, and I cannot remember a worst season. Boring racing – especially at the end of the season. Thankfully, painfully, it is over. I do not have much if any hope that it will be better next year. Figure it out Nascar. I would much rather be saying it was an exciting season with exciting races, but I am being honest in my opinion and cannot say this. Figure it out Nascar.
