Yep! Say the sprint cars paid as much as cup did, he wouldn’t be here.

I don’t say that as a bad thing though. It just is what it is. This has also helped him become a better driver overall imo. Definitely has taught him patience although sometimes it doesn’t seem like he gets that. Lol.

Just crazy to think that racing in cup isn’t his main passion and he is still one of the top drivers in the series. That’s how great he is.

I think he is going to do great things for dirt over the next 30 or 40 years with his series and the money he can invest. Look at the small tracks that are struggling. When he shows up, the stands are sold out and those places to get the biggest crowds they’ve had in years.

In reply to @realbaron5714. Harvick legit carried shr the last few years. He would be running 5th or 6th when his teammates were running closer to 20th and it seemed like that was going on every race. Hell, he was in contention to possibly win the southern 500.

There’s way more talent in the dirt track world now a days, especially a ton of talented young kids, will be interesting to see how he does when doing it full time
