I believe that the inclusion of IMS to Jimmie’s 2024 Cup Series schedule means an unfinished business for him. Remember that he was supposed to drive the Ally #48 HMS car at the 2020 Brickyard 400, but he was sidelined due to COVID-19 protocols. So, not only we’re gonna get a return to Indy’s oval, we’re also gonna see a 4-time Brickyard 400 winner come back to that legendary motorsports facility one more time.

I really hope Jeffrey can make the most of his starts. The 26 car launched Nemechek into a quality ride. If Jeffrey can have a solid run at Atlanta, hopefully sponsors will get on board and it’ll lead to more races.

I like the fact Jimmie is racing. Gives the chance for fans to appreciate him since covid took that away from both he and the fans.

In reply to @rmg_2771. @@ihateracin They don't even have plans to start the new Auto Club short track yet, let alone a timeline for finishing it. They're waiting for construction costs to go down, so that thing could easily be 4-5 years out. And it's probably not going to save them much money by waiting. So we'll see if they go through with it.

Nascar not opening the stands for the heat race is sad. I know they didn’t fill the stands the past 2 years, but that was because they didn’t market it. They should market them more. More eyes would be at the clash seeing better racing. Jimmie’s going to have good cars to win in this year. Legacy will make a comeback. The dollar tree/family dollar partnership is huge. I hope they make the diecast because I’ll buy it.

And it all started when Tyler Reddick announced his sudden switch from RCR with their Chevrolet to 23XI and their Toyota.
Richard Childress fired back by taking Kyle Busch from Toyota back to Chevrolet.
And then Toyota taking away Legacy Motor Club and most importantly, Jimmie Johnson from Chevrolet!

Geez, what’s the deal between Chevrolet and Toyota?

I like the clash i think the banging wrecking each other for wins i don’t like the boring races where a car wins by 2 or 3 seconds i like the close finishes the upsets I wish they can make it a point race but they can’t cause you can’t fit 36-38 cars on the track sadly. What i would do is move LA for the all star race and do a full 36 car race at Daytona and cars it the clash a 200 lap race all charter cars and you just go for it and the lineup will be how you finish last year in the standings those who did not race full time like Gragson will start in the back and Blaney will be on the pole
