The 24 team clearly found something last year, and I think Bowman was on track to find it himself. The question is whether or not he’ll find it again. The injury is a major issue, but I think confidence is the bigger one. If he thinks he’s the third or fourth best driver at HMS, he’ll be the third or fourth best at HMS.

He missed 3-4 races with Blake last year due to penalties aa well. He had speed after his injury (when he had track position). When he got track position, he’d get into a wreck. Hopefully that team as a whole can get better this season. Prove they belong

He should have won Phoenix back in 2016. 2021 was a showing of what is possible. That back injury hurt him more than I think anyone realizes. If he’s fully recovered from that, he should be good this year, especially since Mr. H will no doubt shift resources from the 5/24 shop to the 9/48 shop
