Just like in football with a gunner on kickoffs or punt returns. If you intentionally run out of bounds to avoid a blocker it’s illegal but if you are forced out of bounds by the blocker as long as you make a legit effort to come back in bounds and reestablish yourself as being in bounds it’s legal. Junior was forced below the yellow line and as soon as it was safe to move back above it he did and completed the pass. Now If he had just stayed down that’s different. Again using football, if the gunner is forced out of bounds he can’t just stay out of bounds, run halfway down the field with nothing preventing him coming back and then come back to make the tackle.
