@am1999 A safety issue if they were worn DURING a race. Then I get it. But he had them on during practice and then qualifing. Not sure how that is a bad /terrible thing to make a driver practically loose a race by handycapping them 2 laps down from the get go. Yea I know he wrecked later in the race but still.

Well the yellow was unpredictable……

Joey has always been a driver that tried new things to make Nascar better. He was one of the first to drive these new cars. He drives the new tracks ect,.. before the races get there. I wonder if he realized oops I left these gloves on type thing. I find it curious he has not done an interview since this whole thing happened

When other drivers change CAR parts and only have to go to the back of the field. Logano overcame the penalty and then later he wrecks his car but still. This whole glove thing was excessive and stupid. Now if he had the gloves on in the race now we are talking infraction but during practise /qualifying BS.
