]]>They really could only get to like 750hp and drives have said you would need a lot more than that to make the short track package better. They’ll need to figure out other things before going to hp imo, at least until the hybrids arrive.

]]>Part of that is because teams only use the engines twice. Horsepower was still like 800+ but the teams chose to only run tbem twice thus in a way improving reliability. So even with more power i doubt that will return as much for engine failures etc
