SMI was crazy to think the spring race needed something different because nobody wanted to show up for it because of the racing: nobody showed up because it would rain every single darn year and it might even rain this weekend like they just have to move it to a better time of year

I’m one of the fans who enjoyed the dirt race but missed the concrete for the spring event. Imo, Bristol usually produces great racing, which we’ve seen a ton of over the years. I feel like this weekend will be great

Move it back to its traditional August Saturday night spot. If I’m not mistaken, the deal with SMI & the city of Nashville states that NASCAR can only race at the Fairgrounds every other year, so one year you race at the Fairgrounds, then the next you race at Nashville Superspeedway.

Both concrete Bristol races so far with the next gen have used the intermediate package and personally I don’t think they were very good so I’m going in with low expectations

They’ve always used the intermediate package at Bristol with the next gen and both the concrete races so far have been pretty mid
