How many cautions were there due to drivers bumping and banging, trading paint? These drivers just drive around these short tracks playing follow the leader and waiting for the last 50 or so laps to go for the win.

Watch the races from the 90s on up to the “next gen” car. There was bump and grind, trading paint almost the entire race. Now you see almost entirely drive around the track with minimal bump and banging. Totally boring to watch.
