@rebelsoul5980 on the back stretch he told him to protect the bottom which he did. Then coming through the tri-oval, McDowell made the right move to cover Brad. When Brad went back bottom, the spotter told him to go block bottom again when McDowell was no longer clear bottom as Brad was already there. McDowell did what his spotter told him to do, but his spotter made the wrong call because he never had a chance to come back down after the first block.

Spotter cost Ford and either McDowell or Keslowski a win. No guarantee Brad would have beat him to the line in a drag race, but no chance either of them finish by throwing a bad late block.
