On Episode 29 of “Kevin Harvick’s Happy Hour,” NASCAR Legend Kevin Harvick sits down with co-hosts Kaitlyn Vincie and Mamba Smith to provide an exclusive recap of the Coca-Cola 600.
Get ready for an in-depth analysis of the weekend’s standout moments, including Christopher Bell’s triumphant victory at the Coca-Cola 600 after rain delays at Charlotte Motor Speedway. The trio also delves into Kyle Larson’s ambitious attempt at "The Double," aiming to conquer both the Indianapolis 500 and the Coca-Cola 600. Unfortunately, storms in Indianapolis delayed the start, resulting in an 18th-place finish for Larson. Despite his rushed journey to Charlotte, rain prevented him from running a single lap in the NASCAR race.
Next, they discuss Stewart-Haas Racing's announcement that it will close its NASCAR operation at the end of the 2024 season. The trio also discuss the $75,000 fine that Ricky Stenhouse Jr. received from NASCAR following his altercation with Kyle Busch. To wrap up the show, they highlight the crucial moments of the race and provide a preview of the upcoming Enjoy Illinois 300 at World Wide Technology Raceway. What were your thoughts on Christopher Bell’s triumphant victory?
I predicted Christopher Bell would win and he did and I predict he’ll win more races this year including this weekend
Right place at the right time I guess lol
@@MCC-fo1oe yeah I know
I thought you should have tried to dry the track a little better tbh.
Congratulations to him, just disagree with NASCARs decision to cancel the race. Wish they would’ve continued on Monday.
Here’s a word for Harvick: Serendipitous.
Serendipitously
SHR was on the precipice of closing for a while and I am flabbergasted that it is official
I worked for DW for about a decade I was the one who set DW up on Twitter. After his first tweet or two Kevin Harvick had the BEST Tweet! “JAWS had now become PAWS” when I saw that I was laughing and I that was DW first ‘LIKE”
This is the version of Kevin fox needs in the booth right now. Watching the Fox broadcasts is like watching Bob Ross (puts me to sleep)
Thank you Kevin for all the great memories you gave us while you drove at SHR
Kevin Harvick was keeping the doors open at SHR. When Kevin said goodbye the wheels started coming off two at a time !
Didn’t even win them their first championship. He’s a sellout Hendrick fan like bowyer
@@3120DownForcewhile Nascar’s handling of politics deserves criticism, this doesn’t happen if Busch Beer or Smithfield was still on that team.
@@TheTonyStark3000? Won them more races than anyone else. Was competitive until he took the checkered flag on his career
A word for Kevin Harvick about SHR shutting down: Great
Harvick is starting to settle in and I’m here for it
I would love to see Kevin describe anything or anyone as “a mood”. Like “Cliff Daniels with his head in his hands is a mood.” Or “Denny Hamlin in his golfing clothes is a mood.” Something like that
Love all of the presidential visit stories, past and present! Thanks for sharing those Kevin!
Kevin Harvick is doing an outstanding job!
It was interesting to hear Kevin say “Hands off”. When he said that it made me think of DEI. In a way it’s a similar situation. You had a hands off owner and the team started to go downhill as a result. The star driver and his sponsor left. The team continues for a bit but can’t really rebound from that loss.
Denny was saying that the 24 pitting before him made him have to pull in deeper, because by the time he gets to the 24 car the tire changers are on the left side, which makes him pit deep then comes the 17 having to do the same, then the 42 having to do the same, and then the 3 having to do the same. if the 3,42,0r 17 was a lap down or out of the race it would have corrected the problem. it was just a worst case scenario that they pitted in that order. 24 was always 2 cars ahead during cautions and him ahead of the 17 and the 17 ahead of 42 and 42 ahead of the 3. just bad luck.
I would like too see how much ratings went up after Kyle finished the 500 and started heading to the 600 , I bet the second half ratings went way up!
Poor ol Noah just getting passed around like Friday night blunt! I!! Someone give this young man a forever home!
I already know for a fact that at least one Xfinity team is interested in his services for next year.
A F1 Team wants him to test a car, but, I think that would be asking too much. If he were to hop into a F2 car first to get a feel, then, he might see if he would want to take the leap into a F1 car. If Jr were to get a Charter, with SHR shutting down, he could keep that affiliation with Hendrick, plus, get some valuable talent, if he wants. He is also getting the #8 from DEI, so, he might use that in the Xfinity Series for a few races, seeing Richard is using that number for KB. Crazy NASCAR Season.
I think SHR should be able to sell the talent collected like a football team can …it would certainly be a good way to boost team values and growing talent for value instead of everything going to nascar founders
Even though Kevin was more successful at SHR I will always love his RCR days more. He carried two race teams at the begging and ending of his career. Crazy ride.
Rodney Childers will be the biggest FA to come out of SHR. Whoever picks him up will be getting a top 5 crew chief of all time. Absolutely instrumental in so many of those miraculous Harvick wins.
