]]>@jacobevenson8702 not a bad way to do it considering half usually aren’t even in contention the last 5 races
]]>@@speed4brainz I still think we should go back to 10 guys in on points, 2 guys in on wins outside the top 10 in points, and the playoffs itself should be two 5 race rounds. Cut the playoff field in half after race 5 and the rest battle it out for the championship over 5 races.

]]>He chose to stay in Indy knowing he would not make it to the start of the 600 instead of getting someone who he put out from racing to sub in the Indy car. Yes it was setup for him and would have been a handicap for a sub but at least the car would have been in the race. He doesn’t deserve a pass all because of his rain delay Indy race. And to all the people who listen to the BS on here the book states he has to start every race not halfway. Yes it’s a case by case basis and in this case he doesn’t deserve a pass. Give him this pass then how is it fair to Lil wiener Ricky (according to Danica) with a 75k fine when NASCAR will use his fight with Busch as promotion? Reckon we’ll see around 2 or 3 tomorrow what NASCAR says.
]]>Shouldn’t even be 16. It should be 10 with the field being shortened to 40 drivers the last few years with only 32 or so drivers competing full time the last few years. No reason for half the field to be in the hunt for a championship. 12 at the most.
