@@matt5721 Youre right. Makes you appreciate people who are more than the money they have.
]]>@@BwInNewJerseyI’d assume Gene is so checked out no one even had an opinion?
]]>@@RWalt-lp6ie Yes. The Kenseth 2003 season was awesome. It was an incredible feat to witness and will never be replicated in todays racing. And he didn’t have to wreck anyone to do it. Isn’t it the whole point of any competition to do better and get ahead? and not have some artificial evening the playing field?
]]>@@TeamAbrams Perhaps Tony sees how far NASCAR has fallen and where it is headed and is getting out while the getting is good. Anyone who went to work for Stewart-Haas should have known Tony’s personality, and been prepared for his tantrums.
]]>Yes pack racing has to go. But stages and playoff system has added exciting racing to what otherwise would be teams just riding around, managing their tires and fuel milage until the end of the race.
]]>@berniej.rucker4252 So you would want to go back to the Kenseth championship era? He was so far ahead on points by being consistent, he could have phoned in the last 1/4 of the season. I’ll admit that there are things Nascar needs to change, but we don’t want to go back to that style racing.
]]>Because he has several hundred employees to care about too, it’s not all about him and his issues with NASCAR or Ford or even Gene Haas. This is Tony Stewart giving up and running away from every problem he’s ever had like the mental 12 year old he is.
]]>What killed the team was bad decisions and bad leadership.
]]>Zippadelli is worse with people than Tony.
]]>@@GrandpaShark Tony was fine with Kurt because Kurt was a world class driver, it would be like Gene Haas going behind your back to get Larson or Kyle Busch, like yeah he went behind your back, but he did get the team a good driver lol, but yeah Custer is just the team president’s kid and no one cares about him.
