I couldn’t agree more. don’t get me wrong, the end of the race was kind of ridiculous. But it was exciting, and I’d take one of these races over a dozen Martinsville-type races where absolutely nothing happens and there’s never a fight for the lead. Plus, NASCAR wasn’t really trigger-happy this time – people were legitimately crashing.

Mainly because anytime Clint dare say anything in the broadcasts calling out the sanctioning ‘family’ Mike Joy would be there in a heartbeat to say “but yea Clint isn’t it true…….” Or something similar and make Clint’s argument seem null and void. I actually love Mike Joy but he has always been an apologist for the ones in charge. And I know it wasn’t the NASCAR body but that public felatio Fox gave Hendrick at Martinsville? Have they ever celebrated a team’s anniversary in that manner EVER?!? I’ve never seen an entire broadcast get dedicated to any other team in the garage ever not once… And truth be told they probably shouldn’t be doing it period unless they are willing to do it for every team regardless of what team it is. Just pathetic. Understood this is all corporate mumbo but to the people who have never made millions or billions it just seems pitiful.
