I never imagined that the downtown streets of my hometown would be the site of NASCAR, and I think it’s awesome! Seeing the streets signs, Michigan Ave., the Chicago skyline, the loyal fans sitting with their clear rain ponchos on, even the unintentional spills against the tire impact safety barriers, reminiscent of an old “Speed Racer” episode, driving in Chicago, period, would be a perfect training ground for professional racers anywhere, really enjoyed the broadcast!,

]]>Yeah that would have looked so good.
]]>You and me both couldn’t wait to buy a raced win diecast of it smh
]]>Agree I think it’s good to show the skill of these drivers on more than just ovals. Yes ovals are challenging but there is something special bout seeing a Cup car on streets and roads
]]>2 years in a row too. I live here. It messes up my commute but I don’t care. It’s a fun race. Wish NASCAR did more street/road courses. They’re signed on for one more year. I think they’re in negotiation to extend it longer.
]]>Even with rain is still fun! This race was so unpredictable, everyone had eyes on SVG but he retired early due to an incident, and it looked like Bell had it but do to time is was Bowman with the win.
]]>Ducking?
]]>Chicago is the cancer of our state.
