Why Not Much NASCAR 25 News Is OK… For Now | What We Want!

The NASCAR 25 game has been mostly kept under the veil of secrecy compared to many of the games preceding it. While many fans are eagerly anticipating this new release there are some who do not like the fact that it is still a mystery for most in the public. While I want to see more about it soon as well I do think that it is ok that this is the case. Why not much NASCAR 25 news is OK… for now, what we want!

What are your expectations for NASCAR 25?

I’m hoping that we have the top 3 series on the game, But we don’t *need* that. I just want a good game.

I want it to be kinda like nascar 05, but with better graphics, and overall better gameplay.

considering the pit of misery of the last game, where you conldn’t even play if you wanted to, a game that is stable is good for now. No need to be spectacular. An online that can hold well, a good career mode, maybe a team owner mode, decent ai, customable strategy in racing/pitstops… anyway, a game. because MSG never had one

The less news, the more time they can focus on the game as good as possible.

I like the move!

Probably a good sign the way the new iracing damage model is with the nascar cars . The way that body parts r flying off the cars now . And in fact I’m pretty sure the debreee causes damage .

NASCAR 25 (Which is a Close #2 behind GTA 6 at #1 in regards to Games in 2025 I couldn’t be anymore excited for) should be a Ginormous Improvement in comparison to NASCAR 21 Ignition

@BraydenBunch58 July 31, 2024 at 10:26 pm

I can’t wait till NASCAR ‘25, It’s probably the most anticipated game since Ignition. But look where that got us, That got us a half decade of no games. I want the top 3 series, But they don’t need them. I hope the game is good, And I hope that this is the start of a great new era.

it would be nice to have gameplay similar to that of the eutechnyx games with multiple series and a range of tracks, good multiplayer, decent damage physics, well made graphics, smart ai and good driving physics. i know this may be alot to ask for but this is what i would like for a new upcoming nascar game

It’s nice for the game developers to take their time instead of rushing things to get the game out as soon as possible. So, it’s good for them to take things a bit easy.

I personally think, the new game should be a 2-3 year product. Give updates as needed, with adding new paint schemes, updated drivers, etc. the only time I think there should be a new game created would be if new tracks, body styles for the cars, or new consoles. I don’t think it would be hard to necessarily do that since many other games do DLC rather than new games.

As someone who is actively on iracing, I think there is great reason to believe the game will be a huge step up from NH5. They’re constantly releasing new cars, tracks, and even events. I just hope they don’t make us pay for cars and tracks like in iracing

@n1ghteng4le July 31, 2024 at 11:58 pm

I agree, I think it’ll be different than iracing in that aspect though because I assume nascar 25 will be roughly $60-70 so they probably wouldn’t charge for like a monthly subscription like iracing does

@@n1ghteng4leno… more than likely the game will have dlc (all games do nowadays, it’s the norm now) so I assume more of the same with paint scheme dlcs.. although I would love a car type dlc or older track dlc or something like that… maybe do like they did with world of outlaws and make the 26 season a dlc to work on the next nascar game and polish it real nice…I assume base game will be 70, with maybe some deluxe edition or maybe even a collectors edition with a season pass… I assume after all of that (the bundle) would cost about 100 or so…

@@tanjirouzumaki144 I think DLC would be perfect for things like previous years as well, etc like 2020 season, 2023, like the past 2-3 years of nascar just if anyone wants to run it. Plus tracks with alternate layouts not used, ex: Daytona RC, etc

After playing some bad racing games, i want it to be consistent with the actual rules. NASCAR games have been okay on that, but the recent NHRA game seemed to make some stuff up that gets rather frustrating. Changing the difficulty shouldnt also change the skill of the AI. Bump drafting should not cause them to crash. Lets also get a custom paint booth in career mode. Im on Heat 4 and its a small thing that could make a world of difference. Wish list would be a career mode where money doesnt become irrelevant.

I just want to have my own custom car and all Xfinity series too . I will buy this game on steam if has that . Not having custom car is deal breaker

I still have faith. If anyone can make a great NASCAR game, it’s the papyrus and monster games people

@nomadman5288 August 1, 2024 at 12:32 am

I hope there are some sliders to adjust: for drafting effect, side draft effect, dirty air effect, tire wear, aggressiveness, blocking skill, mirror driving, etc, along with each driver having their own set of skill levels in various areas. It needs to be more dynamic than in racing games past so the the players have more control and can adjust to their individual preferences or needs for more or less realism, easier or harder difficulty, etc.

I would expect a teaser trailer at the Daytona 500, or a release date, this all depends on when they will release the game, the later the release date, the later everything gets released

Heat 4 and 5 were objectively good nascar games, we in the console League racing community still use them today.

They had an update from the team saying if you asked our fans, they’d probably say NR2003, Dirt to Daytona, or one of the mid 2000s EA titles is probably their favorite game.

This is already a good sign. They’re aware of the expectation and what makes a good game.
