Yes. After this happened in 2014, NASCAR should have said that anybody who does a move like this again will be credited with a last place finish. And then they should have followed through if it happened again.

I don’t agree with people saying to take away Austin Dillon’s win here. They have allowed people doing whatever it takes to win for so long that they have sent a message to drivers that this is ok

I think possibly encumbering the win makes most since like they did to joey in 2017 when they took his playoff eligibility but keeping the win.
