I like flips, keep flips in NASCAR!
I wouldn’t say I like flips, but as Denny said, “I’d rather flip over than go straight into a wall head-on”
My pick christopher bell ended up 35th at Michigan but I predict that he’ll win at daytona this weekend Saturday night
Marcus it’s very hard to win at Daytona, it’s not about speed, it’s about knowledge
@@Mass1fy yeah I know
It’s also about luck. Carl Long could win.
@@marcusvillarrealdude shut up you already said that stop spamming
@@JTJD029 sorry
*Makes bottom of the car completely flat*
*car flips more often*
NASCAR: :O
Gee, anyone could of told you that when you make the bottom completely flat when cars were already flipping because they’re shaped like airplane wings, they’re going to flip more with the bottom of the car flat. I don’t think the 20mph were helping either
they haven’t even really been blowing over that much more often. 2020 and 2021 only had the one cup flip each but 2019 had two, 2018 had one, 2017 very nearly had one (chase elliott). also since the next gen has been a thing, the xfinity cars have had just as many blow overs. in fact they’ve had more. snider, mayer, perkins, and sieg compared to cup having the three (burton, preece, and lajoie)
Hard to account for all the possible variables, but as you noted, the grass made it violent. Nice to see Daytona eliminated their grassy areas.
I wonder if removing the smooth underbody would help….
I don’t think it has as much of an impact, because Kyle Sieg went for the exact same ride in the Xfinity Series race on Saturday, and those cars do not have the smooth underbody. Coincidentally, if you look at where LaJoie entered the grass on his roof, you can see at the exact same spot where Sieg’s car had dug into the grass earlier.
@@scottshinbaum1772 Kyle Seig was being pushed by another car, plus his roof flaps did not deploy.
So it was the wind no need to change the cars delete the video. And why are we changing tracks just cause of one crash taking out grass are you freaking serious ruining the history of the track
Exhibit A: Ryan Preece flip
@@acedelta12 he would’ve never flipped if he didn’t get hit on his side you can clearly see none of these cars are flipping on there own there’s contact
@@sporthighlightseveryday1085 Corey Lajoie literally flipped all on his own…
@@lucasesquivel2525 no he literally didn’t he got hit in right front finder and got the car light
Its all because the air has nowhere to go, you can see the pressure just all goes under his hood and it causes it to lift smh
Don’t change a f-ing thing.
Only LaJoie could flip his car trying to pass uncontested on a straightaway.
He caused the flip
Should of did one on the 28’s flip also from the xfinity race
Did Larry forget that Burton nearly caught the pavement and almost barrel rolled, removing the grass still won’t help(this might cause war but whatever)
They will likely glide on the roof without stopping back on the race track.
Excellent analysis
Happy there’s no overreaction here like there was on the NBC broadcast
