With the adoption of NASCAR’s Next Gen car two of the big concerns that NASCAR had was how well the car would race at the road courses and short tracks. One aspect of the NASCAR schedule that fans seemed to leave by the wayside were the cookie cutter intermediate tracks that peppered the entire season.
