Why A Daytona NASCAR Finale Is INEVITABLE

The Daytona International Speedway is the World Center of Racing, it is the site of the biggest race in NASCAR in the Daytona 500, and it is probably the most famous track the series goes to that has its fame built from NASCAR history. With that being said much of the talk for the last few weeks has been where Daytona is on the 2024 NASCAR schedule. The biggest I saw was Denny Hamlin, but I think that the conversation will get crazier i the coming years. I think that Daytona will one day be the NASCAR season finale, it seems crazy now but so to did the elimination style NASCAR Playoffs back in January of 2014, so to did a "Chase format" in 2003. Thus is why a NASCAR finale at Daytona is inevitable.

23XI Racing has been one of the more frustrating teams to watch over the last 3 years in the NASCAR Cup Series. While having a great amount of speed at many tracks, full Toyota support, and sponsorship other teams can only dream of they do have some major issues. Today we are going to look at whatever it is that is going on from those at the top all the way to those on pit road that have cost the team more races than fans would feel comfortable with. Denny Hamlin has become possibly the most hated driver in all of NASCAR. The question may now be to ask how this happened, how Hamlin went for a relatively non hated driver to the most despised in the sport. From costing wins to popular drivers like Dale Earnhardt, Jr., Chase Elliott, and Kyle Larson to playing the heel among fans Hamlin has made himself into the biggest villain in all of NASCAR. NASCAR console gaming has been in the gutters for the good part of the last 15 years and while there is no quick fix to this terrible mess there still are developments that most NASCAR fans would at least want to know about. One of which is the new 2022 DLC for NASCAR Heat 5 and the other is a new arcade kart racing game for NASCAR. These have had mixed reactions so we are going to look at them and if they are good or bad developments. Is NASCAR console gaming improving? Or just more of the same

Why NASCAR Was Right To SUSPEND Chase Elliott

Chase Elliott has went to a point that most thought he would never go to, right-hooking Denny Hamlin into the outside wall as revenge for how the 11 raced the 9. This is something that has become too common in the last few years in NASCAR and the sanctioning body needs to put their foot down. We saw this happen with Bubba Wallace last year after he did a very similar move on Kyle Larson at Las Vegas. Now they have an opportunity to strengthen the current precedent by suspending Elliott. This is why NASCAR was right to suspend Chase Elliott

In the last decade and a half the name Roush has faded mostly from competitive racing in NASCAR, whether that be the NASCAR Cup Series or even the lower series. But in the last two years the team is different in many ways. For starters the name changed from Roush-Fenway Racing to Roush-Fenway-Keselowski racing or RFK Racing as it is now better known as. With the change there has been a slow change in performance as well. It begs asking, is RFK Racing good again?

Is William Byron A CONTENDER Or Just INCONSISTENT?

William Byron absolutely dominated at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway, leading 175 of the 271 laps run and far and away had the fastest machine in the field. This is part of a trend with Byron of a hot and cold pendulum in the NASCAR Cup Series where Byron is either one of the most elite drivers in NASCAR or is a mid pack guy at nest. Today we look at this and how this race at Las Vegas may just be his breakthrough. So today I want to ask, Is William Byron a contender or just inconsistent?

What Is Going On With RFK Racing?

Since the mid 2000s Jack Roush’s NASCAR Cup Series program has been one in near constant performance decline. From having 5 cars in the 10 man Chase for the Nextel Cup in 2005 to having only 2 mid-pack teams in 2022 the rebranded RFK Racing has a long way to go to reach the peaks it once had. Even so, with Brad Keselowski coming over to be an owner/driver the hopes of Roush fans was high. Unfortunately for those fans though, RFK has actually taken a step back in performance compared to that of 2021. So it bears asing, what is going on with RFK Racing?
