What were your thoughts on the 2021 Daytona 500?
nice eeeee ee
Whooo this is something else man!! Love it!! how fast do they go???
@Nascar fan of diecast mjj0
@AGWCSX Same Here Mqn.
That Was Mind Blowing.
Yeah, That’s Good. The 2022 is Now Stared from The Race of the Year 2000s.
Every 10 years there’s always a underdog winner
And also the loves car won on valentines day
You do realize it was the 15th when he crossed the line.
@horsefly1020 where I live it’s still the 14th
@Jeff william the race is in eastern time zone
@Michael Hansen it was Valentine’s Day when I was watching it and it ended after 11pm
How fitting it is
Michael McDowell: *wins*
NASCAR fan base: *visible happiness*
@Julian _ Yeah, the yellow must have come out instantly after the wreck. Nascar has all the data. They got it right.
People were more upset that they threw the caution and chase didn’t win than Brad flying into the fence and the whole crags that happened at the front of the field
@iiGreyson don’t put me in your opinions
@iiGreyson . .

I’m just a casual fan but I follow all kinds of racing. I love NASCAR because it’s the only series besides NHRA wherein a kinda-fat guy can pull wins. Respect to the portly gentlemen out there puttin’ in laps.
I love how when theres a bunch of wrecks people complain about the cautions and it being a demo derby but when theres actual clean racing almost all the way through people complain about it being too boring. Do people actually expected these guys to drive like idiots for 500 miles just to put on a good show? They dont go single file because theres no other choice they do it cause its smart cause thats how you put yourself in position to win these races
I enjoy a mix of both. That’s what makes racing so enter
Most of them people would spin out first turn if they got in a racecar
@Run Rafa Run #THEBESTINTHEWORLD No it did not. 2014 500 probably still the best 500 of the 2010s. They raced super clean at the front until the final lap.
@AllaboutheWaves LoL they had the worst package though. They barely couldn’t pass.
Single file racing isn’t clean. It’s not racing at all.
What are the odds that the Loves car wins on Valentines Day
Will it be Loves, or the Hunts catsup car on Valentine’s Day?
@karkid the last penny
@julius ceasar watch the calendar
@Keiton no doubt
@PHY Nebuchadnezzar gambled too
I’m a chase Elliott fan and I’m glad for Michael McDowell he deserves loves lol
Same
Same
Chase Racelott Vitoline
Yes he does
@Coalovd then why is your name Ryan blaney
2001: Michael Waltrip (first time winner)
2011: Trevor Bayne (first time winner)
2021: Michael McDowell (first time winner)
Timmy Hill is winning the 2031 Daytona 500.
2051 is a Rick ware racing car
@Mark Atkins boogie not bookie
@Purwanti Allan pepto bismal
@Zippy Thekid bookie = bookmaker
Do you think racing will be allowed in 2031? If something doesn’t change our communist government will have eliminated gas cars and gas by then. Maybe they can build and electric car that can travel 500 miles by then.
Let’s go Brandon.
I swear the entire NASCAR fanbase is happy right now. Does anyone not love McDowell?
@Zenon 45 last lap though that reminds me a lot to FINAL DESTINATION 5. THE BIG ONE.
suarez doesnt like him thats for sure
No
McDowell is the guy that always spins me out in career mode
Who? You mean the dude that wrecked everyone?
If there was ever a Daytona 500 that was saved by it’s ending, it’s this one.
Finally one of the biggest blockers gets caught up in his own mess!! How’s that feel Joey !?! Glad 4 McDowell!!
Ah… Nothing like an Underdog Winning the biggest race of them all. So happy for Michael McDowell and Front Row Motorsports.
Just amazing.
oh my gosh seeing Mcdowell win makes me smile for no reason, im happy for him nice first win bud
In his 14th season
@Alabama Skar well as you can see he has this tenacity specially on superspeedways.
Sadly he race with an underfunded team.
The big wreck around lap 14 really set the tone for the race.
Fr it messed up the race and then the race got postponed but it was a good race beside the crash that happend
This race remained me of the 2009 Aarons 499. Early crash, single file racing. Unexpected winner
Yeah
@Joel.Luna.14 at least it wasn’t a s bad as last year
I thought somebody was a goner on that last lap crash. NASCAR safety is amazing these days. Glad everybody is okay, really happy for Mcdowell on his first 500.
If this type of stuff doesn’t stop happening at the end of these races someone will eventually die.
@Marty Yaw not really nascar worries about safty so they’re probally going to make some changes and improvements to this and the next gen cars
@cade murphy His roll case was completely untouched, lol.
NASCAR is safe
@Alka-Seltzer Manager Indeed it is
Good thing that everyone was able to walk away from that last lap crash. Those flames made it look really bad.
I understand the trauma. But sparks are different to an explosion. I was amongt those who realized the Grosjean explosion was potentially a deadly one, and in tears and prayers as an atheist on second 2 of the long wait. I remember it took many a while to kick in to that realization. I mean those 23 seconds where the longest we have seen in recent years. But in Nascar, they already worked harder to prevent those old fireballs, plus i think the EMR is doing an amazing job too. Something F1 should have learned from a long time ago. Anyway. In Nascar and Indy its that last corner exit that worries me most. The pit lane entry crashes are stopping a car instantly. But a spark and a flame at high speed on a nascar is not anything to worry about. Hope people won’t be too traumatized every time there are a few flames. Remember the racers that got killed with no flames. Its just as horrible and we know that and pray every time a crash happens that everyone gets out.
@The Wild Bunch Cycling Atheists don’t pray
@Alka-Seltzer ManagerThat is when you see the world in the boxes that we created. I am an atheist, and i prayed to something out there for Romain to survive. So please don’t tell me or anyone what to believe and what is what, when i do not believe in a god as an entity, but i believe in spirit as in aether. You can call it whatever you like. But one can pray as an atheist as one chooses.
@Alka-Seltzer Manager no problem. I was just reacting.
As an F1 fan trying to get a racing fix during the off season, that last lap crash set off some painful memories of the panic from the Bahrain GP last year…
@HondaDasher F1 and NASCAR fan here. If there’s someome to blame, that person is Kyle Busch. McDowell was just bump drafting.
@Matheus Souza what is bump drafting
F1 fan here. I love Nascar!
@Tristan Ellis Gaming Surprised it took that long.
@Durking do you think its first time f1 racing in bahrain..?
Epic! Glad everyone is safe! Looking forward to a great season!!!
Very satisfying finish. Mcdowell had his car in position to take advantage of the situation. So happy for him and the whole team! Glad no one was injured in the crash.
Bowyer fits right in up in the booth, he was great throughout the weekend. Congrats to McDowell/the 34 team and the whole organization as a whole.
First win EVER at Daytona 500.. Priceless.. Keep the momentum going Michael McDowell
8:40 this looks eerily similar to Dale’s wreck 20 years ago. The fact Brad was able to walk away from that under his own power is a great testament to the safety improvements nascar has made since then.
