God bless Matt Kenseth for taking out Logano in the Fall Martinsville 2015 race. It gave some closure and Jeff the chance to win his final race.

@westentrance If Logano got seriously injured or killed, Matt Kenseth would be a hero and I would add Kenseth diecasts to my collection.

I know I’m 2 years late, but I can confirm this statement, because as a ro racer I tell people don’t tell me to calm down because that just makes me even more mad, they don’t understand but keep saying to calm down, I just keep telling other drivers in my league don’t tell me to calm down, unless you want me to wreck you, and off topic, but it’s harder for me to go get revenge on you if u wreck me then it is Matt kenseth, so pretty much for the win, same thing happened to me yesterday

Reply

I know right, saying “calm down” is really a passive aggressive way of saying “go nuts dude”!

Yanov October 15, 2022 at 5:08 am

@lofe_ The stewards in a roracing league kept pursuing me and even parked me, I drove backwards and got 3 cars on their roof (dnf). Was a nice day for a brutal revenge

Reply
Nick March 20, 2019 at 6:12 pm

Totally agree with spinning a guy around out of revenge, but not in a dangerous part of the track, and not when you’re going to send him into the pack and run someone else’s race who had nothing to do with it

I know this is actually harder than F1 (I’ve heard alot of f1 drivers even say that) and I am not a fan of this but I gotta give credit to these guys how hard they must work to do this stuff.

NASCAR has a hidden rule among drivers; you mess someone up you’d better expect them to pay you back. Drivers NEVER forget.

I love how NASCAR lets these things happen. As an F1 fan, I think this type of racing is much more justified than FIA’s made up unfair bs penalties/rules.

At The Glen maybe 8 years ago I was at the turn 10 grandstands watching the race. The final lap had Kyle Busch in the lead with Brad Keslowski in second. Brad spun him around Turn 9 and the stands just erupted in cheers. Never heard anything like that at any other race I’ve been to. It was so exciting to watch. Ambrose ended up winning that race.

Darth Juice May 22, 2022 at 9:48 pm

Reply

@robywhenthe logano crashed kenseth out of championship contention after already being secured into the next round

Reply
Dragon Brendan April 16, 2021 at 3:33 am

@robywhenthe so later in the season Matt kenseth got payback and logano didn’t win the championship because of it

Reply
V.I.P: RaceCar November 10, 2021 at 5:07 pm

Better timestamp would be 11:42

Reply
Lord Soronexle December 31, 2022 at 5:08 pm

@robywhenthe Logano was already locked into the next round, so he had no reason to knock Kenseth out who needed the win the most to stay in. So in the very last clip, Logano lost his chance at a championship to Kenseth as nothing more than revenge. Logano is pretty much a dirty driver when you get down to it and was pretty much controversial among each of the drivers in Nascar.

The Keslowski-Edwards payback was nuts. Both went airborne and both got totaled. Brad got the lucky end of the deal

Reply
Darth Juice May 22, 2022 at 9:50 pm

I was a massive Edwards fan (still hoping he eventually comes back) and this was one of the only times I saw him get revenge. I was shocked that he actually did it since he was usually calm and collected.

Loved the last one where Kenseth dumped Logano at Martinsville and when Joey’s car was coming down the track it looked like it had a square tire, bumping along like something from a cartoon.

Super video, thanks!

I remember the Kenseth and Logano crash. I was upset and it is a good thing he also ended up crashing as well. Road rage in NASCAR is fun, but sometimes it can be taken too far. At least seeing Jeff GOrdon win a race in his final season was good.
