The WORST Season of Kasey Kahne’s Career

Kasey Kahne’s NASCAR career was full of ups and downs but there was no further low than the follow up to the up of 2006. In 2006 Kahne was the winningest driver in NASCAR, going to victory lane 6 times. 2007 on the other hand was the nearest to the polar opposite of 2006. Kahne was barely a factor in any races unless he was crashing and failed to meet even the baseline expectations of a competitive team. This is the worst season of Kasey Kahne’s career.

Might have been a bad season, but boy did he come close to breaking the McDonald’s curse

I want to say that he was one of the biggest victims of the McDonald’s curse

2018 was worse imo.

Honestly, it probably had to do with the McDonald’s curse.

Adding the 10 car to evernham at the same time that evernham wasn’t focused on the team was a terrible timing

I’d put his latter HMS years in here as well.

Oh man the absolute worst I can think of is when Kurt Busch was at phoenix racing. I’d LOVE to see a video on that!

he was his own biggest enemy that year, but still nearly won Sonoma.

The insane thing to me was there was leaded gas in 2006

Kasey won in dodge, ford, Chevy, and Toyota. I feel he was a little unappreciated during his time but also the field during this time had legends top to bottom. I’d put him in the Ryan Newman tier of drivers.

If I remember correctly they admitted (they being Evernham) missed the aero badly with the nose that year so thats why they were so bad

2006 Tony Stewart, 2011 Jimmie Johnson, 2009 Jeff Gordon, even though he wasn’t the same after Vegas, and finally in general the 18 team from 01-07 following the Champ of Bobbie Labonte cultivated by the JJ Yaley bust
