The Busch Light Clash at The Coliseum brought the action as the NASCAR Cup Series started the season with a bang! Bubba Wallace was assertive in the beginning of the race as he led 39 of the 150 laps, but Martin Truex Jr. made it count where it mattered most as he led 25 laps of the race and was able to hold off Austin Dillon to win the Busch Light Clash at The Coliseum. The Clash featured 16 cautions, in comparison to five in last year's race.

Which drivers are you predicting to have a great season?
Bubba Wallace
Truex is on a mission. It could be his last season & he didn’t win last year despite leading the most laps. Plus, Busch isn’t at JGR so Truex will get some more of the top talent in the garage working on his cars. (Imagine Hamlin will also benefit.) Hold onto your hats & make your bets now, Truex is getting his 2nd championship this year.
Christopher Bell
Preece is gonna surprise and Reddick will be a title contender
kyle larson

*_Bruh Night Crash at the Colonoscopy_*
at least the cool thing is that Tony will be in the broadcast booth for the Daytona 500 which is very cool same thing with Kevin HarVick joining the broadcast booth for Fox’s coverage of the 2024 NASCAR cup series season
Was at the race, boy it was long.
So many yellow flags at around 69 laps remaining…
I think you can look for the 8 and 3 to be strong at Daytona too. This might be Kyle’s best shot at a 500. Austin ain’t a greedy teammate like Denny.
Austin is a tool . i dont mean a wrench !
I think it’s KBs best chance too but not cause of his teammate but because of the sheer number of Chevys on track that will work with him. With Toyota at the end of races he was always left hung out to dry (Hamlin was too but I’ll admit Denny is a better superspeedway racer)
I always hated denny Hamlin he is a true POS
@Vaseline Guy yeah nah. I don’t like the guy but he’s a veteran in Cup by now. The only thing he might benefit is with setup work from Kyle, but Kyle’s not gonna teach him how to drive or anything.
It was an alright race although I don’t like the cautions during this race.
The Clash was pretty cool this year except if your favorite driver got dumped. It’s Short Track Racin’
I can still hear him sayin it with the twang, and it was pretty fun this year, much less awkward and more entertaining than last year!
More like go cart racing
It was a cool experiment but I don’t think they should come back here next season. The race sucked and it looked like there might have been 15k people there tops. Fans in LA don’t even show up for NFL I hardly think NASCAR is going to get a foothold there.
I think Rockingham could be an interesting idea for an exhibition race. It was just repaved. Although it would probably be a tad chilly this time of year. Maybe the new Atlanta, take the plates off? I dunno I just don’t see the point of doing this race again.
Wasn’t the Clash in Vegas last year? Or somewhere else?
@L Diamondz no it was here they haven’t figured out that it sucks yet
@Tim J It really sux. That medal ceremony was so stupid. What is NASCAR trying to do? Turning it into the old WWF.
@L Diamondz Doing an Olympics thing to go along with the Coliseum. Probably trying to get the Olympics back to LA.
@L Diamondz That or trying to get racing into the Olympics.
I was there in person, my god it took waaaay to long to complete.
I was there in person it was AWESOME
How many beers deep were you.
@Garrett Church Some guys were, some dudes looked blitzed or stoned.
This must be a very bad race for Ty Gibbs. First he caught fire during practice and now he got involved in many wrecks, spins, etc.
This has to be the most cautions in this race, right
Nice job NASCAR! Who would of thought of racing stock cars on a go-kart track!
My boy almost got that win I’m sure Dillion will have a great season
I miss when this race used to be at Daytona 🙁
Yeah, it made more sense at Daytona. Not sure how many new fans they’re attracting by putting it in the Colleseum but I seriously doubt it’s converting anyone. NASCAR would be killing it if they focused on their natural fan base instead of trying to get the attention of the luxury box crowd who will never be diehard fans. When NASCAR decided they were better than their fan base, it really started to lose everything that made it so much fun to be at races.
Went to sleep half way through, about as exciting as watching grass grow.
