Missed this channel popping up after races. I’m excited for the season!! Glad to have you back. Bold statement but Alex Bowman will make the top 4 this year. Also Mosport in Canada is a famous road course they used to have big races at.
i think it would be awesome if we started like 20-22 cars and at the 1/3 and 2/3 of the race they took out 8 or so drivers letting the final stretch really give everyone still in a decent chance at going for the win and most of the yellows were once the leaders started approaching the lower cars would just go crazy
If the go back to the coliseum next year the attendance will be terrible. Need to pivot away to another market to keep enthusiasm for the event. The people of Los Angeles are known for not supporting local events, just look at the attendance of UCLA football. It’s like a ghost town at Bruins home games
I saw a pretty good chunk of people here this year I don’t think it’ll be terrible. Casual fans got what they wanted this year more than us hardcore fans wanted with the unnecessary overaggressive wrecks in that 2nd half. But nonetheless I brought casual fans out and they loved it the idea of it being a non points race at a fun venue in a entertainment market its paying off for younger audiences maybe not the older but tons of younger people and families
I hate rap. And you know what? This was a great race and great experience, as a fan. I didn’t like the artists performing. My wife did but I didn’t. You know what I did instead of pissing and moaning online about it? I did some laundry. I folded some towels. And my butt was back in the seat by the start of the second half. I saw a woman online bitching about the musical guests and saying that George Strait should have been the performer. Look, as a metalhead, I like some country music. I like George Strait. But he is irrelevant in these times. If this is what it takes to grow the sport, fine. Whatever. What really matters is the on track product…and I thought it was great. Lots of drama, lots of comers and goers. I dug it!
That’s one thing that I can’t wrap my head around. You don’t like the performer? Mute the TV. It’s that simple. I don’t know why so many people apparently struggle with this concept
I didn’t have an issue with the performer. I don’t care who you ask to perform. My issue was with the break itself. Since when did NASCAR have a half-time???!!! This isn’t NFL football!! What the heck was that all about???!!!
Considering the Clash has become a circus, might as well make it a traveling circus. Have it held at different tracks elsewhere. Or Kern County Raceway in SoCal if they’re that obsessed with the “California Audience” so much.
The racing during green was pretty good imo, but it’s just the constant spinning that ruined it. They shouldn’t have 27 cars in the field. 23 was enough
If NASCAR want to expand their fan base, they need to bring the races to a steaming service, so many fans don’t get to watch because we don’t want to throw out $60-$100 a month on cable that includes FS1.

They listed the main event starting at 5 PM EST. That’s how it’s wrong.
