Looks like Denny got held up by the 14 and Chastain wasn’t expecting Demny to be slower, and by then it was too late. But it’s hard to know
Hamlin just followed Briscoe into the corner and he couldn’t have expected the car behind to fill in the gap inside right before entering the corner. Or maybe it was expectable since the car behind was Chastain, who is most of the times aggressive.
There are more caution laps than racing laps
Caution laps don’t count, but if they did, I’d say they probably ran over 200 laps.
This was a chain reaction not in Denny’s favor. This track is already smaller than Bristol and these results happen. Briscoe had to slam the brakes, Denny had to hit the brakes, bottom was open season, Chastain went down, Denny gets tagged, and there he goes.
Just Chastain doing what Chastain does. It’s like he is playing a video game.
