Love the commerical BUT as a historian of the sport Jeff Gordon imo is the unquestioned GOAT of NASCAR. Anyone who feels otherwise can comment below.

Jimmie won 5 in a row. That kind of dominance hasn’t been seen before, and it will never be seen again.
@Awesome McAwesomeshorts its easy to do when you only have to be good for 10 races. Im more impressed with Jeff who did it in 36 races. Also Jeff Gordons peak from 1995 to 2001 is SIGNIFICANTLY higher in winning percentage in titles combined with crown jewels laps led poles won top 5s top 10s and lead lap finishes and races won and seasons with the most wins than anyone else in the history of the sport if you do the actual math without even needing to round out the averages. That type of dominance hasnt been seen before or after and that includes JJ. Unfortunately the Chase created a system of Mickey Mouse championships and has deluded what an actual championship is. You race the entire season. Not just 10 races.

Yes stats wise ofc. Just in this sport seems championships are more important especially in the hall of fame. Sucks but just the way it is. Jeff no doubt was a better racer but Jimmie and chad also had a great plan. And we can’t say for sure tbh. Cause remember if it wasn’t the playoffs they would’ve raced differently. Would’ve went harder during the regular season instead of doing random setups and then going hard during the playoffs
